All-American and former University of Oklahoma record holder Alexandra (Acker) Deible finished her second season mentoring the Elizabethtown College Track & Field team's pole vaulters in 2018.
Deible became just the third Sooner to achieve All-America status in the pole vault when she cleared 14'3" (4.35m) to place fifth at the 2012 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa.
A native of Erie, Pennsylvania, Deible graduated from Oklahoma with an undergraduate degree in elementary education in August of 2011 after transferring from West Virginia University. She also earned her masters of education from Oklahoma in December of 2013.

During her career, Deible broke the Sooner pole vault record five times. She formerly held both the indoor (13'6") and outdoor (14'3-1/4") marks. Following her All-America finish in 2012, Deible went on to compete in the US Olympic Team Trials.
Deible spent the 2014-15 academic year as an assistant coach at Olivet Nazarene University (NAIA) in Bourbonnais, Illinois.
