Former Blue Jay catcher Courtney Comstock returns to Elizabethtown as an assistant coach on Kathy Staib's staff in 2015.
Comstock started all 150 games between 2010-13, finishing her career with a pair of program records. Her 132 runs scored and 94 walks are still career bests by a Blue Jay.
Comstock, from Bloomsburg, had a lock on All-Commonwealth Conference First Team backstop honors during her first three seasons. She was also a three-time NFCA All-East Region pick.
Besides her two school records, Comstock still ranks second with 479 at-bats, fourth in triples (13), fifth in hits (143), seventh in stolen bases (31) and tied for 10th in doubles (20).
Comstock graduated from Elizabethtown in 2013, receiving her bachelor of science in biology. She was named to the MAC Spring Academic Honor Roll from her sophomore year on.
Comstock is currently enrolled in the physical therapy doctorate program at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
