Former Elizabethtown Area High School softball standout Anna Libby joins coach Kathy Staib's coaching staff as an assistant in 2013.
Libby played collegiate softball at NCAA Division II Millersville University and Seton Hill University. As a freshman for the Marauders she played in 33 games, starting 12. Libby hit for a pair of doubles and triples while knocking in nine runs.
In 2012, with Seton Hill, the local started all 27 games in which she played. Libby finished the season with three doubles and six RBIs to her credit.
An accomplished high school catcher, Libby led the EAHS to the Lancaster-Lebanon Section II title in 2007 and league championship in 2008. Libby's Bears teams made District 3 Class AAAA playoff appearances in each of her four seasons. She earned Lancaster-Lebanon League First Team All-Star honors in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
