Chelsea Miles '09 is in her first year as an assistant coach at her alma mater, after a distinguished four-year career as a member of the track and field team.
As a student-athlete, Miles set school records in the long jump (indoor and outdoor), triple jump (indoor) and high jump (outdoor). She was team co-MVP in 2007, 2008 and 2009 and was a two-year captain. Miles was also the recipient of the Middle Atlantic Conference Sportsmanship Award in the 2008 indoor and 2009 outdoor seasons.
In the fall of 2008, Miles was head cross country coach at Central Dauphin Middle School, and is a member of the Elizabethtown women's cross country team in the fall of 2009.
Miles graduated cum laude from Elizabethtown in May 2009 with a bachelor of science degree in occupational therapy, and is currently completing work toward her master's degree. She is a 2005 graduate of Penncrest High School in Media, Pa. where she was a state qualifier in both the long and triple jump.
