2013 (Senior): Team captain and Blue Jays' lone representative on the All-Commonwealth Conference First Team...All-conference selection was his second straight after Second Team honors in 2012...Started all 20 games, one of just four players on the team to do so...Scored three goals and picked up an assist to rank tied for third on the team in points with seven...Responsible for the team's first goal of the season, in the 30th minute at No. 10 Scranton on Aug. 30...Registered a pair of goals in a 5-1 win over Stevenson Oct. 22...Had an assist against Susquehanna Sept. 25...Totaled 16 shots and nine shots on goal.

2012 (Junior): After being used sparingly over his first two seasons, Volk was a mainstay in the Jays' lineup as a junior...One of six players to play in all 19 games, and one of only two (Ross Withrow the other) to start every game...Ranked sixth on the team in scoring with six points (2 goals and 2 assists), despite playing defense...12 shots were tied for seventh most on the team...Started the season with three shots in a 3-2 loss at Muhlenberg Aug. 31...Got his first career point on an assist of Zach Hollingerr's game-winning, double overtime goal against Johns Hopkins Sept. 9...Two games later, on Sept. 15, Volk scored the first goal of his career in a 4-1 victory over Wilkes...Career-high three points (1 goal, 1 assist) in a 3-2 double overtime win over Arcadia Sept. 29...While he provided some offense, Volk was still reliable defensively, where he helped E-town rank in the upper echelon of the conference in goals against average (3rd, 1.10), shutouts (t-3rd, seven) and goals allowed (t-3rd, 22)...His work did not go unnoticed by league coaches, as they selected him to the All-Commonwealth Conference Second Team.

2011 (Sophomore): Made first career start Sept. 4 against SUNY Geneseo...Played in eight games, and tallied two starts...Recorded a shot at Lebanon Valley Oct. 1...Jays had a 4-4 record when Volk played, and an even goals scored-to-goals allowed ratio (10:10).

2010 (Freshman): Saw action in a pair of Elizabethtown wins as a freshman...Collegiate debut came Sept. 8, at home against Wilkes (a 6-1 win for the Blue Jays)...Also appeared in a 7-1 win at Moravian Sept. 28...Credited with a shot against Wilkes.

High School: Awarded four varsity letters between the sports of soccer and basketball at St. Elizabeth High School in Wilmington, Del...All-conference first team pick all four years...Twice chosen to the Delaware High School Coaches Association (DHSCA) All-Representative First Team (all-state)...Two-time selection as soccer team's MVP...Knocked in 15 goals and added 35 assists for 65 career points...Captain of the soccer team...Active in leadership club.
