- Starred as an outfielder for the baseball team in its run to a Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) A Conference championship in 2014
- Team defeated Calvert Hall, 5-2, in the MIAA A Conference title game at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, Maryland, May 18, 2014
- Earlier in his senior season against Calvert Hall, Lane threw out the would-be go-ahead run at home plate in the bottom of the seventh inning as his team went on win, 5-4, in extra innings
