A four-year member of the Lynchburg College men's lacrosse team, Jacob Sentz, is making the transition from player-to-coach in 2014 as an assistant coach on new Elizabethtown head coach Drew Delaney's staff.

Sentz played defense four the Hornets, appearing in 26 games during his career. The native of Clarksburg, Md. was highly regarded by his coaching staff as a team leader and important locker room presence.

Sentz has worked numerous camps, most recently at the Woodberry Forrest School, Bullis School and Lynchburg College camps. Sentz graduated from Bullis School before attending Lynchburg. He volunteered with the Lynchburg Lumberjacks travel squad in 2012 and 2013.

The 2012 recipient of Lynchburg's Bart Wilson Unsung Hero Award, Sentz was also a 2013 Old Dominian Athletic Conference/Stellar One Sportsmanship Team member. Additionally, he earned all-academic team honors from the conference from 2011-13.

Sentz received his B.A. in business administration from Lynchburg in May of 2013.
