2015 (Junior): Performed strongly as the Blue Jays' primary backup keeper to senior Rodrigo Barrera...Stopped six shots, recorded a 0.77 goals against average and .857 save percentage in a career-high 116:16...Set new career standards in games (five) and minutes played...Allowed just one goal over the course of the season...Made three saves in 45 minutes of a 4-1 victory at Juniata, Sept. 26...Stopped both shots that came his way against Penn State Berks, Oct. 14.

2014 (Sophomore): Held opponents scoreless in both of his appearances...Played a 19:06 in a 3-0 win over Wilkes Sept. 17...Also came on for the final 3:09 against Susquehanna Oct. 8...Faced a pair of shots, one in each appearance, but did not need to make a save on either.

2013 (Freshman): Made his E-town debut Oct. 22 against Stevenson, playing the final 4:47 in a 5-1 win for the Blue Jays...Was not called upon to make any saves and did not face a shot in his only appearance of the season.

High School: Two-year starting keeper for coach Jim Murray at St. Joesph's Prep in Philadelphia...All-Philadelphia Catholic League First Team selection as a senior...Led team to two straight appearances in the PCL semifinals (2011 and 2012)...Team finished 14-4-2 his senior year...Posted a goals against average of 0.75 for the Hawks in his two varsity seasons...Made two saves and shut out Lansdale Catholic in a 2-0 PCL quarterfinal win Oct. 23, 2012...Registered nine shutouts during his senior season...Student leader on Ixthus Ministry team.

Personal: Son of Ronald and Veronica Sandell...Comes from an athletic family, as his father played collegiate soccer at the University of Delaware, his uncle, Greg, played soccer and golf at Dickinson College, and his grandfather, Erv, was a member of the basketball team at Lafayette University...Has a younger sister, Julianna, and a younger brother, Luke...English major with a concentration in professional writing...Also working towards a minor in communications.
