Biography
2014-15 (Sophomore): Qualified for the Landmark Conference Championships in the 200-, 500- and 1650-yard freestyle...Finished 25th in the 1650 free at the conference championship meet...Knocked almost four seconds off her previous best 500 free time with a 6:34.76 at the Landmark Championships Feb. 13...Also registered career bests in the 50 free (32.51), 200 free (2:28.81) and 1650 free (22:10.63).
2013-14 (Freshman): Competed in distance freestyle and backstroke events for the Blue Jays as a freshman...All four of her season best times came in the month of November...Set her best time in the 100 back (1:21.16) against Messiah Nov. 13...Top 500 free time (6:38.62) came Nov. 22 at Drew, in an Elizabethtown victory.
High School: Swam for coach Kyle Shulke at Hamilton West...Four-year varsity letterwinner...Chosen as team's most improved swimmer...Involved in HEY Club, DECA and yearbook...Volunteered at local YMCA...Inducted into the National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society.
Personal: Daughter of Michael and Karen Courtney...Has a younger sister, Samantha...Undecided on a major.
