2013 (Senior): All-MAC Second Team performer after placing 14th at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships...Appeared in six meets for E-town...Set a new 6k personal record at the Shippensburg Galen E. Piper Alumni Open on Sept. 6...Ran 20:00 to take 22nd overall out of 125 runners...Capped off his Elizabethtown career by running in his third NCAA DIII Mideast Regional meet...Finished 60th at 26:12 in his final XC race.

2012 (Junior): Set a new career-fast time in an 8k race and ran a 4k and 6k meet for the first time in his career...Captured third straight All-MAC First Team spot by finishing fourth at the MAC Championships on Oct. 27...Clocked a 27:04.24 at the MAC Championships and a 27:01.23 at the Misericordia Cougar Classic (Sept. 15) on the same course...Three consecutive top 10 finishes from Sept. 1-29...Runner-up at the Misericordia Cougar Classic...Finished third at the Dickinson Short Course Invitational...Competed in his second NCAA DIII Mideast Regional meet in a row.

2011 (Sophomore): All-Middle Atlantic Conference First Team runner in his second year with the Blue and Gray...Finished a career-best third in the MAC Championships at Messiah College on Oct. 29...Season-best 8k time was a 25:44.30 at the NCAA Division III Championships in Winneconne, Wisc., on Nov. 19...Took 51st place in the Mideast Regional meet at DeSales Nov. 12.

2010 (Freshman): Capped impressive rookie year by running in the NCAA Division III Championship meet at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa...Only freshman in the conference to take a spot on the All-MAC First Team, as he finished seventh at the conference championship meet (8k, 26:05.46) to do so...Earlier in the season, Welsh set the fastest 8,000-meter time of his collegiate career with a 25:40.50 (22nd place) at the Oberlin College Inter-Regional Rumble.

High School: Won PIAA District 3 Class AA and PIAA Class AA State Championships during his senior year at Kutztown Area High School...Finished third in the Berks County Interscholastic Athletic Association (BCIAA) meet in 2009...Finished 15th at the PIAA Class AA state meet as a junior...Team qualified for the state cross country championships in 2008.
