Biography
2013-14 (Senior): Saved her best effort for last, establishing a new PR and breaking into the 18-minute mark in the 1650-yard freestyle (18:58.00) at the MAC Championships Feb. 16...Qualified for four events at MACs, finishing 12th in the 1650 free, 21st in the 500 free, 31st in the 200 free and seventh as part of the 800 free relay team...Swam to victory in the 1000 free at Lycoming Nov. 9...Took the 200 and 500 free against FDU-Florham Nov. 16...Helped E-town to a win in the 400 free relay Feb. 1 at King's (Pa.) in the final dual meet of her career...Earned MAC Winter Academic Honor Roll recognition for the third time.
2012-13 (Junior): Recorded times in every freestyle distance, but once again specialized in the distance and mid-distance events...Led the team in the 500 and the 1000 and was second in the 200...Only competed during the fall semester, before studying abroad in the spring...Got the most out of her season before heading overseas, winning at least one event, individual or relay, in the seven meets she competed in...Started the season with a sweep of the 500 and 1000 free in a 117-86 win at Arcadia Nov. 3...Also swept the distance free events against Lycoming (Nov. 10), at FDU-Florham (Nov. 17) and at Lebanon Valley (Nov. 20)...Won the 1000-yard or 800-meter freestyle in six out of seven meets...Swam on E-town's top 400 free relay team with Jennifer Malik, Rachel Engelhardt and Becki Lane (3:56.44) against Hood Nov. 7...Named to the MAC Winter Academic Honor Roll for a second straight season.
2011-12 (Sophomore): Collected five career-best times and swam in four events at the MAC Championships...Placed eighth in the 1650 freestyle at MACs with a time of 19:02.39...Secured a 12th-place finish in the 500 free and was 17th in the 200 free...Won at least one event in four straight dual meets from Nov. 19-Jan. 12, including three consecutive victories in the 1000 free...Was a two-time winner in the 200 free during duals...Won the 200 free with a career-best time of 2:05.69 against FDU-Florham Nov. 19...Posted team and personal bests in the 1000 free when she touched in with an 11:15.38 to win the event at York (Pa.) Dec. 10...MAC Winter Academic Honor Roll student-athlete.
2010-11 (Freshman): Emerged as one of the top distance freestyle swimmers during her freshman season...Ranked second on the team in the 500-yard free (5:31.61), 1000-yard free (11:31.54) and 1650-yard free (19:00.90)...Collected All-MAC Second Team honors in the 1650 free (sixth) and 800 free relay (sixth)...Finished 11th in the 500 free with a season-best 5:31.61 at the MAC Championships Feb. 11...Won the 200 free in her college debut at Arcadia Nov. 6...Took the second leg in E-town's 400 free relay win against Lycoming Nov. 13...Held the fifth best 1000 free and 1650 free times in the MAC for the season...Also had the 11th quickest time in the MAC in the 500 free.
