ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- Senior Will Inglis was the top performer on Saturday at the Elizabethtown College men's cross country team's opening meet of the season. Inglis won the Blue Jay Alumni Challenge in 14:00.2 as the Blue Jays took care of the alumni, 15-49.

The top scoring spots all belonged to Elizabethtown, led by Inglis. Joshua Henshaw was just off Inglis' pace as he finished second in 14:09.0. Derek Kendig, coming off a 2025 NCAA Div. III Championships appearance (along with Inglis), was third overall in 14:15.4.

Frank Conte and Michael Beach were fourth and fifth, respectively. Carson Brooks placed sixth and Mason Fangman was eighth as the Jays controlled the top 10, claiming eight of those spots.

Devon Soto was the lead runner for the alumni with his seventh-place finish in 15:34.3.

The Blue Jays will compete Friday night, September 4, at the Galen Piper Cross Country Challenge at Shippensburg.
