CSC Academic All-District Softball

Five softball student-athletes earn CSC Academic All-District Team

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College softball team had a program-record five Blue Jays named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team. The CSC announced its Academic All-District Softball teams on Tuesday. Sarah Birner, Jess Dunn, Sydney Harper, Brooke Huczko, and Hannah Long represent Etown for Division III.

The 2026 Academic All-District® Softball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To be eligible, undergraduate student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. Furthermore, eligible softball nominees must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances OR pitched 35 innings.

Huczko and Long receive the distinction for a second time in their careers while Birner, Dunn, and Harper earn it for the first time.
