TOWSON, Md. -- It was a new week and a new Elizabethtown College women's track & field and Landmark Conference record for sophomore Isabella Cowger. At Millersville this past Saturday, Cowger reset her own shot put record and won a pair of events for the Blue Jays. She was selected as the league's Field Athlete of the Week for a third time this outdoor season.

Cowger has dominated the throwing circles so far this spring, placing first more often than not. Along with that, breaking records.

In Saturday's shot put, Cowger threw 13.28m (43'7") to win and move up to 26th in Division III. She also won the discus at 47.15m (154'8").

Cowger placed fourth in the hammer throw at 41.50m (136'2").

She will get more record-breaking chances this coming weekend and the opportunity to do it at home as Elizabethtown hosts the Blue Jay Tune-Up on Friday and Saturday.
