WILKES-BARRE, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown men's tennis team earned two sweeps on the day as they defeated King's (Pa.) and Misericordia.
Against King's (Pa.), the Blue Jays earned wins at no.1 and no.2 doubles to earn the point.
Max Lauver and
Austin Kohler earned singles wins, both winning 6-4, 6-0. At no.3 singles,
Jio Garcia won 6-3, 6-0.
Ryan Kraychik handled no.4 singles, 6-1, 6-0.
Isaac Reichenbach forced a third set winning 2-6, 6-3, 10-6.
Against Misericordia, Etown again won two of the three doubles matches. At no.1 singles, Lauver won 6-2, 6-0. At no.2 singles, Kohler won 6-3, 6-0. Garcia and Kraychik almost blanked their opponents in singles play winning 6-0, 6-1. At no.5 singles, Reichanbach won 6-3, 6-1.
The Blue Jays will host Lycoming Saturday in their final conference match.
