TOWSON, Md. -- Sophomore Isabella Cowger won an event, placed top three is all three throws contested and set new school and conference record for the Elizabethtown College women's track & field team on Saturday at Lebanon Valley. Cowger was named the Landmark Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week as a result.

Cowger won the discus for the fourth time in her career on Saturday at the season-opening outdoor meet at LVC. She not only won the event with her mark of 44.72m (146'9"), but she also broke the school and conference record.

She was also second in the shot put at 11.86m, which tied her personal best at 38'11".

Cowger threw 40.91m (134'3") in the hammer throw, also a PR, and moved from 10th to fifth all-time. The sophomore placed third overall for the Blue Jays.

Elizabethtown competes tomorrow at the York (PA) Twilight Meet, beginning at 1:30 p.m.
