Cowger sets new school and conference discus record at LVC

ANNVILLE, Pa. -- Sophomore Isabella Cowger set a new Elizabethtown College women's track & field and Landmark Conference discus record on Saturday at the LVC Blue & White Open. She was one of four event-winners for the Blue Jays at the meet.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- Isabella Cowger won the discus with her throw of 44.72m
- Addison Kleinle won the 3,000m in 10:30.68
- Kate Bendall won the 100m hurdles in 16.45
- Kirsten Navich won the 400m hurdles in 1:05.34
- Caleigh Bold was the runner-up in the 200m at 26.11
- The 4x100m relay was second in 51.10
- Emma Herman took second in the high jump at 1.41m
- Cowger was second in the shot put and third in the hammer throw
- Bold was third in the 100m at 12.90
- Sky Shinnen ran 1:02.76 to place third in the 400m
- Liliana Zimmerman ran 16.60 to finish third in the 100m hurdles
- Jaelyn Pennypacker took third in the 400m hurdles
- The 4x100m 'B' team was third in 55.89
- The 4x400m relay team was third in 4:48.93

- Caleigh Bold's 12.90 in the 100m ties for eighth all-time
- Caleigh Bold's time of 26.11 in the 200m improves her third-place standing all-time
- Addison Kleinle's time of 10:30.68 in the 3,000m is fifth all-time
- Liliana Zimmerman's time of 16.60 in the 100m hurdles improves her sixth-place standing all-time
- Kirsten Navich's time of 1:05.34 in the 400m hurdles moves her from third to second all-time
- Jaelyn Pennypacker's time of 1:11.35 in the 400m hurdles is 10th all-time
- Grace Tessier's mark of 5.03m in the long jump is seventh all-time
- Isabella Cowger's mark of 11.86m in the shot put ties her PR for fifth all-time
- Isabella Cowger's mark of 44.72m (146'9") in the discus is a new school and conference record
- Isabella Cowger's mark of 40.91m moves her from 10th to fifth all-time
- Alexis Rich's throw of 34.10m improves her eighth-place standing all-time
