Inglis wins 800m at F&M

LANCASTER, Pa. -- Junior Will Inglis won the 800 meters for the Elizabethtown College men's track & field team on Saturday at the Blue & White Invitational. The Blue Jays also competed at the Fastrack National Invitational on Friday in New York.

WEEKEND HIGHLIGHTS
-Derek Kendig finished fifth in the 5,000m at the Fastrack Invite
-Inglis won the 800m in 1:57.16, Andrew Reice was eighth
-Josef Book was second in the 60m hurdles and third in the long jump
-Marty Ratchford took third in the 5,000m at F&M, Frank Conte was fifth
-Waid Gainer placed fourth in the 60m hurdles and tied for seventh in the high jump
-Joey Walko threw 15.15m in the weight throw to take fourth
-Lucas Beaver (seventh) and Jimmy Undercuffler (10th) also placed in the long jump
-Jimmy Undercuffler jumped 12.37m in the triple jump and ended up sixth
-Matt Lamb was sixth in the 60m and seventh in the 200m
-Trevor Albright took eighth in the 600m and Bryce Hoglund was eighth in the pole vault
-Jake Vottero was 10th in the mile

ALL-TIME PERFORMANCES
-Cam Michaels' 51.16 in the 400m at Fastrack Invite is now seventh all-time
-Derek Kendig's 15:08.27 in the 5,000m at Fastrack Invite is now 10th all-time
-Josef Book's 6.39m (20'11-3/4") in the long jump at F&M is now 10th all-time
-Josh Focht's throw of 11.99m in the shot put at F&M is now ninth all-time
-Joey Walko's throw of 15.15m (49'8-1/2") at F&M improves his second-place standing all-time

Elizabethtown will compete at next Saturday's NYU DIII Invitational.
