Walko, Inglis, Undercuffler win gold, Book sets record at Landmarks for men's track & field

SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- Joey Walko, Will Inglis, and Jimmy Undercuffler each won gold for the Elizabethtown College men's track & field team on Saturday at the Landmark Indoor Championships. The Blue Jays were fourth overall with 89.33 points.

MEDAL PERFORMANCES
-Will Inglis won the 800 meters in 1:56.47
-Jimmy Undercuffler jumped 13.25m in the triple jump to win the event
-Joey Walko's throw of 15.49m in the weight throw was tops amongst the field
-The 4x400m relay ran 3:25.62 to place second
-Waid Gainer tied for second in the high jump at 1.87m
-Josef Book ran 8.45 in the 60m hurdles to take third

OTHER PODIUM PERFORMANCES
-Trevor Albright ran 51.00 in the 400 meters to place fourth
-Will Inglis ran 4:27.23 in the mile to take fourth
-The 4x200m relay ran 1:32.63 to finish fourth
-Josef Book took fourth in the long jump at 6.30m
-Derek Kendig ran 15:30.63 to place fifth
-Evan Seagreaves vaulted 4.05m to take fifth in the pole vault
-Bryce Hoglund cleared 3.90m to finish sixth in the pole vault
-Andrew Reice ran 1:59.76 to take seventh in the 800 meters
-Derek Kendig ran 8:55.57 to place seventh in the 3,000 meters
-The distance medley relay ran 11:11.10 to take seventh
-Blake Haddon jumped 1.77m to place eighth in the high jump
-Kyler Benedict ran 8.91 in the 60m hurdles to take eighth

ALL-TIME PERFORMANCES
-Josef Book set a new school record in the 60m hurdles with his 8.37 in the prelims
-The 4x200m relay time of 1:32.63 is now sixth all-time
-The 4x400m relay time of 3:25.62 is now eighth all-time
-Evan Seagreaves' vault of 4.05m (13'3-1/2") is now ninth all-time
-Jimmy Undercuffler's mark of 13.25m (43'5-3/4") moves him from eighth to fifth all-time

The men's track & field team will compete at the AARTFC Indoor Championships on March 6-7.
