READING, Pa. -- Sophomore Isabella Cowger broke the Elizabethtown College women's track & field weight throw record on Saturday while the 4x200m relay and Kirsten Navich each won events at the Alvernia PLEX Shootout.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS
-Isabella Cowger threw 14.73m (48'4") in the weight throw to break the indoor program record and take fifth overall
-Kirsten Navich won the 800 meters in 2:25.23
-The 4x200m relay ran 1:49.89 to win the event (Kate Bendall, Grace Tessier, Liliana Zimmerman, Caleigh Bold)
-Caleigh Bold ran 1:01.62 to finish second in the 400 meters
-Isabella Cowger threw 12.30m (40'4-1/4") in the shot put to place third
-Kate Bendall ran 9.77 in the 60m hurdle prelims to qualify for the final, but did not compete in the final

ALL-TIME PERFORMANCES
-Isabella Cowger's throw of 14.73m is now the new school record, moving her from third to first all-time
-Liliana Zimmerman ran 9.98 in the 60m hurdle prelims to improve her fifth-place standing all-time
-4x200m relay's winning time of 1:49.89 is seventh all-time

Elizabethtown is scheduled for the Blue & White Invitational at F&M on Saturday, February 7.
