READING, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College men's track & field team was back at Alvernia on Saturday, this time for the PLEX Shootout. Josef Book was the top performer at the meet for the Blue Jays.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS
-Josef Book was second in the 60m hurdles at 8.67
-Waid Gainer was fourth in the 60m hurdles at 8.73
-Khaliq Poles took fifth in the 400m at 53.44
-Jimmy Undercuffler finished fifth in the triple jump at 12.66m
-Joey Walko was fifth in the weight throw at 14.77m
-Waid Gainer was also seventh in the high jump at a mark of 1.80m
-Lucas Novack took eighth in the long jump, Jimmy Undercuffler was ninth, and Gainer was 10th
-The 4x200 meter relay finished seventh in 1:34.57

ALL-TIME PERFORMANCES
-Waid Gainer's 8.73 in the 60m hurdle final improved his sixth-place standing all-time
-Kyler Benedict's 9.24 in the 60m hurdle prelims improved his 10th-place standing all-time
-Jimmy Undercuffler's mark of 12.66m (41'6-1/2") moves him from ninth to eight place all-time

Elizabethtown is scheduled for the Blue & White Invitational at Franklin & Marshall on Saturday, February 7.
