READING, Pa. -- Derek Kendig and
Waid Gainer were the top performers for the Elizabethtown College men's track & field team on Saturday at the first meet of the second semester. The Blue Jays competed at the Alvernia Winter Invitational.
TOP PERFORMANCES
-Kendig was fourth in the 3,000m at 8:59.45
-Gainer placed fourth in the high jump with a season-best height of 1.90m (6'2-3/4") and was seventh in the 60 meter hurdles with a season-best time of 8.83
-
Blake Haddon was fifth in the high jump at 1.85m (6'0-3/4")
-The 4x200m relay of
Matt Lamb,
Lucas Novack,
Khaliq Poles, and
Cam Michaels was fifth in 1:34.36 while the second relay was eighth

Josef Book took eighth in the 60m hurdles

Joey Walko was eighth in the weight throw at 14.57m (47'9-3/4")
