WILKES-BARRE, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown women's tennis team opened up the 2025 fall season at the King's (Pa.) Invitational this weekend. 

In flight 1, Haley Bishop fell to Scranton, 6-1 6-1. In flight 2, Mariia Yeni defeated Arcadia, 8-6 before falling to Scranton, 6-0, 6-1 in the semifinals. In flight 3, Elizabeth Warren defeated King's before moving on to defeat Wilkes, 8-0. Warren fell 6-4, 6-2 in the semifinals vs. Rutgers. 

In flight 4, Katie Balzano defeated Lycoming before falling, to Wilkes in the semifinals. In flight 5 after an opening round BYE, Hannah Walker fell 8-3 to Scranton. 

Etown will host their first duel match of the season on September 20 vs. Penn St.-Brandywine.
