NEW ORLEANS -- The Elizabethtown College men's and women's track & field teams and first-year thrower Isabella Cowger received academic honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Monday.

To be considered an all-academic athlete, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.30 GPA (on 4.0 scale) and have finished the season among the top 50 individuals or competed as member of top 35 relay as listed on descending order list on TFRRS. Cowger, the new school and conference record holder in the discus, earns the distinction in her first year of collegiate action. She finished the outdoor season ranked T44th in the discus at 43.57m (142'11").

The men's track & field team earned the team academic award for the 14th straight year while the women have been selected for the 19th consecutive season. Teams must achieve a cumulative GPA of at least 3.1 (on a 4.0) scale to qualify.
