2025 Landmark Softball All-Conference

Dunn, Reever earn all-conference selections for softball

TOWSON, Md. -- The Elizabethtown College softball team had a pair of all-conference selections for the second straight season as Jess Dunn and Maddie Reever earned the honors for the Blue Jays in 2025.

Dunn led the Blue Jays in most hitting categories while also ranking in the top 10 in the Landmark Conference. The first-year had a team-high 42 hits, ninth in the conference and one of 11 players with at least 40 hits on the season. Dunn also had a team-best 30 RBIs, fourth-most in the Landmark and tied for the eighth-most in a single season in program history.

A movable piece for head coach Bekah Slattery in the infield between the corners and in the circle, Dunn ranked ninth in OPS at 1.017 and had a 10-game hit streak during the middle of the season. Included in that streak was a 10-for-15 effort at the plate over four games. She went 5-for-7 against Catholic and then 5-for-8 at Lycoming. Against the Warriors, Dunn hit three triples and drove in five runs in game one and had an RBI and a run scored in game two. She was named the Athlete of the Week for the first time of her career that following Monday.

Dunn was named All-Landmark Conference Second Team at third base, where she spent the majority of the season for Etown. She also had two wins in the circle with 82.2 innings pitched, four complete games and 33 strikeouts.

Reever played much of the season at first base for Elizabethtown and was a fixture in the starting lineup. The junior had a career-best .991 fielding percent, which ranked ninth in the Landmark Conference.

At the plate, she had career-bests in hits, runs scored, home runs, and RBIs. Reever hit her first career home run at Widener on April 17 and was one of four players that hit over .300 for the season. She also contributed in the circle, making 19 appearances and throwing two complete games. Reever won her first career game against Neumann at The Nest on April 15, going seven innings and allowing just one run in a 3-1 win over the Knights. She won her second of the year the following week at Hood with another complete game performance in a 12-3 win over the Blazers.

Reever was named All-Landmark Conference Second Team at first base.
