TOWSON, Md. -- Daniel Myers was named the Landmark Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field Senior Scholar-Athlete on Thursday. He is the eighth overall honoree for the Elizabethtown College men's track & field program and the fifth to earn the outdoor distinction.
Myers is a six-time All-Landmark Conference Track & Field selection during his time with Elizabethtown. He was the runner-up in the 1500m and took third in the steeplechase at the 2025 Outdoor Championships. Myers also earned Second Team honors in 2023 and 2024 in the 1500m. He won the steeplechase in 2024 on his own track.
He is a three-time Landmark Spring Academic Honor Roll selection as well as a three-time USTFCCCA All-Academic Team member. Myers was named 2023-24 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District and is expected to receive the nomination again in 2024-25.
A Dean's List student, Myers was chosen as the 2024-25 Blue Jay Athletic Association Male Distinguished Student-Athlete Award winner at the department's annual Student-Athlete Recognition held in late April.
Myers was a team captain for the cross country and track & field teams and spent time volunteering as an Attollo Program mentor along with Brittany's Hope, Ben & Tim's 5K Race, and time at JP McCaskey High School.
