NEW ORLEANS -- Five athletes from the Elizabethtown College men's and women's track & field teams were named All-Mid-Atlantic Region by the USTFCCCA on Wednesday.

AJ Sasso,
Will Inglis,
Isabella Cowger, and
Kelty Oaster each earned honors for the Blue Jays for having a top-five time or mark in their events in the region.
Hudges jumped a season-best 1.97m last week at the AARTFC Outdoor Championships where he tied for second in the high jump. He was the bronze medalist at the Landmark Outdoor Championships.
Inglis twice won the steeplechase this season, including the gold at the Landmark Outdoor Championships at Susquehanna. He ran a season-best 9:25.02 on April 12 at Bucknell.
Sasso came on strong at the end of the indoor season and that carried over outdoors. The first-year dual sport athlete took the Landmark gold in 1:51.68 and then ran slightly faster 11 days later at the AARTFC Championships at Williams College where he finished second overall in 1:51.61.
Cowger won the discus four times in five meets for the Blue Jays, including the outdoor opener at Susquehanna where she threw a new school and conference record 43.57m. She was the Landmark runner-up and took seventh at the AARTFC Championships.
Oaster earned all-region honors in three different events for the outdoor season, including the 400m, 800m, and 1500m. She lowered her own school record in the 800m to 2:07.17, run at the Landmark Outdoor Championships where she grabbed silver and finished with the sixth-best time in Div. III. Oaster will contest the 800m at the outdoor national championship meet. She also set new school records in the 400m (55.70) and 1500m (4:27.92).
