CHESTER, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College women's track & field team had a pair of discus throwers in action on Monday at the Widener Final Qualifier.

Isabella Cowger, the Landmark runner-up, and DaniRae Renno, the bronze medalist, competed in the discus for Elizabethtown ahead of the midweek AARTFC Outdoor Championships at Williams College. Both throwers will also compete in the discus at the regional meet.

Cowger's third throw of preliminaries was enough to put her into the final. Renno threw 36.61 and would finish 11th overall.

On her sixth and final attempt, Cowger threw her best mark, measured at 39.68m (130'2"), to finish eighth.

The AARTFC Championships begin Wednesday at noon.
