ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Graduate student Kelty Oaster advanced to Saturday's 800-meter final at the NCAA Div. III Indoor Championships for the Elizabethtown College women's track & field team.

Oaster competed in the first section of three in the 800m. She hung around the middle of the pack for a duration of the race, but ran comfortably.

Over the final 300 meters, Oaster made her move to work her way into the top three and down the final stretch, finished with one of the two automatic qualifying spots for Saturday's final.

Oaster finished in 2:08.59, a new Elizabethtown and Landmark Conference record.

Saturday's final is scheduled for 5:05 p.m.
