ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown women's tennis team opened up the 2025 spring season inside the Bowers Center, Saturday afternoon. The Blue Jays defeated Lancaster Bible, 5-2 after honoring their seniors Adriana Burmeister and Gabriella Palladini. 

In the doubles match the Blue Jays grabbed two wins for one point to take the lead. Haley Bishop and Palladini won 6-1 at no.1 doubles. 

The Blue Jays were victorious in four of their singles matches. Bishop won, 6-0, 6-0 at no.1 singles, Burmeister won 6-1, 7-5 at no.3 singles, and Taylor Dukes won 6-4, 6-2 at no.5 singles. 

Etown won no.6 singles and no.3 doubles by default. 

The Blue Jays are back tomorrow with a conference match against Juniata at 1pm.
