Gavin Fehr, senior
Ganon Smith, and sophomore
Sav Niewiadomy each won for the Elizabethtown College wrestling team today at the Scotty Wood Invitational hosted by Muhlenberg College. The Blue Jays were second as a team with 154 points and 13 place finishers on the day.
Fehr, Smith, and Niewiadomy all went unbeaten for Elizabethtown on Saturday as they racked up the first-place points for the Jays. Fehr won at 174, Smith at 184, and Niewiadomy as 285.
Etown had four second-place finishers.
Deven Jackson at 125,
Braden Scott at 141,
Justice Hockenberry at 165, and
Will Davis at 197.
Roman Polcha (125) and
Owen Heffner (141) earned victories in their third-place matches while
Paul Sanderson took fourth at 165.
Ethan Bliss at 165 and
Febian Dawit at 133 were the victors of their fifth-place matches.
Corey Cope was sixth at 133.
The Blue Jays will get back into dual action at Wilkes on Tuesday, November 25.
