ANNVILLE, Pa.—The Elizabethtown women's swim team defeated Lebanon Valley, 179-63.
To start the meet the team of
Emma Sabalaske,
Megan Benson,
Maya Veiss, and
Kaylee Blair took the top spot in the 200M free relay. In the 100M IM, the Blue Jays swept the event with Benson leading the pack with a time of 1:15.81. Etown again swept an event as
Katie Midura,
Olivia Goldman-Smith, and
Maura Swab competed in the 200M free.
In the 50 back, Blair finished first while
Emma Paul took second. Sabalaske grabbed first in the 50 breaststroke and
Katarina Linde took second. In the 100M fly,
Hailey Poulos claimed first clocking in at 1:16.49. In the 100M free, Linde finished first with a time of 1:11.82 while
Jordyn Dutko finished second with a time of 1:13.09. In the 100M back, Blair finished first and Paul finished behind her.
In the 100M breaststroke, Sabalaske finished first with a time of 1:21.34 and Linde finished second with a time of 1:24.00. In the 400M free, Midura finished touching the wall at 5:19.62. Sabalaske earned another first place finish as she won the 200M IM.
Etown will travel to St. Mary's (Md.) on Nov. 8.
