ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.—The Elizabethtown men's swim team hosted Goucher and Immaculata in their home opener defeating the Gophers, 182-48 and the Mighty Macs, 183-57.
The team of
Michael Tittermary,
Garren McKenzie,
Marco Niosi, and
Austin Smith took first in the 200 medley relay.
Leif Hoffman claimed first in the 1000 free with a time of 11:10.42 while
Griffen MacLaren took second. Hoffman then finished second in the 200 free with
Cameron Stambaugh finishing behind in third.
In the 50 free, the Blue Jays claimed the first four spots with Tittermary leading the pack.
Barron Bishop (28.66) and McKenzie (30.57) finished first and second respectively in the 50 breaststroke. In the 100 fly, Niosi took second while
Billy Bartolomei finished third.
In the 50 free, Smith took the top spot touching the wall at 23.22 while Tittermary touched second at 24.05. In the 100 free, Niosi claimed first clocking in at 52.53 and McKenzie finished third. Hoffman added another first place to his night taking the top spot in the 100 back.
Bishop finished first with a time of 1:04.30 and Smith finished second with a time of 1:05.14 in the 100 breaststroke. In the 500 free, Bartolomei took first and
Noah Lynch finished second with a time of 5:40.48. The team of Hoffman, McKenzie,
Paul Davis, and Niosi took first in the 200 free relay.
