Men's cross country takes 20th at Rowan

LOGAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- Junior Derek Kendig led the Elizabethtown College men's cross country team on Saturday at the Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle.

Kendig moved up five spots at the close of the championship 8,000-meter race to go from 18th to 13th when he crossed the finish line. Kendig ran 25:06 for Etown.

Will Inglis was 77th overall in 26:12.6 as two Jays were in the top 100 runners.

Marty Ratchford finished 137th, Frank Conte was 215th, and Ethan Wence was 218th.

Elizabethtown was 20th overall with 578 points out of 35 scored teams.

The Blue Jays next contest the Landmark Championships on Saturday, November 1.
