SELINSGROVE, Pa.—The Elizabethtown women's swim team opened up their season with a 144-46 win over Lycoming and a 114-82 loss at Susquehanna.
The team of 
Emma Paul, 
Emma Sabalaske, 
Kaylee Blair, and 
Katarina Linde placed second with a time of 2:00.30 in the 200 medley relay. In the 1000 free, 
Hailey Poulos took third clocking in at 12:01.80 while 
Katie Midura finished fourth.
Blair earned her first solo win of the season in the 200 free touching the wall at 2:05.68. In the 50 free, 
Megan Benson and 
Maya Veiss finished third and fourth respectively. Sabalaske (2:22.85) earned another win for the Blue Jays taking first in the 200 IM.
In the 100 fly, Blair grabbed another first place with a time of 1:03.64. In the 100 free, Benson (59.98) finished third while Linde (1:03.67) finished fourth.
In the 100 back, Poulos and Paul tied for third clocking in at 1:08.52. Midura claimed third in the 500 free touching the wall at 5:54.36. Sabalaske earned another win in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:13.79.
The 200 free relay team of Veiss, Midura, 
Maura Swab, and Poulos took second coming in with a time of 1:56.40.
