SELINSGROVE, Pa.—The Elizabethtown men's swim team opened their season with a 133-45 win over Lycoming but a 142-61 loss to Susquehanna.
The relay team of
Leif Hoffman,
Garren McKenzie,
Austin Smith, and
Marco Niosi took second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:43.24.
Hoffman grabbed his first solo win of the season in the 1000 free clocking in at 11:02.28. Niosi and Smith finished third and fourth respectively in the 50 free. Smith took second in the 100 fly touching the wall at 55.58.
In the 500 free, Hoffman claimed his second win of the night with a time of 5:21.49. In the 100 breaststroke, Niosi (1:07.88) finished third while McKenzie (1:08.49) finished fourth.
In the 200 free relay the quartet of
Billy Bartolomei,
Jack Rosen,
Jack Gambler, and
Michael Tittermary took third with a time of 1:40.26.
