Women's Swimming Falls to York (Pa.) in Final Home Meet of the Year

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown women's swim team fell, 81-121 in their final home meet of the season to local rival York (Pa.) Wednesday evening. 

The team of Hailey Poulos, Gracie Harding, Liv Hillman, and Emma Sabalaske opened the meet with a first place finish in the 200 medley relay. Poulos then took second in the 1000 free clocking in at 11:43.24. In the 200 free, Megan Benson took third with a time of 2:12.52 while Jordyn Dutko followed in fifth. Harding won the race of the night with a first place finish in the 50 free. 

In the 200 IM, Sabalaske touched the wall at 2:27.00 for second while Katie Midura finished third with a time of 2:30.45. In the 100 fly, Kortny Green took second coming in with a time of 1:08.33. Harding added another first place on the evening touching the wall at 56.21 in the 100 free and Benson finished third. In the 100 back, Hillman clocked in at 1:07.45 for second. In the 100 breaststroke, Sabalaske led the Jays to second while Green and Midura followed in third and fourth; respectively. 

Etown will visit Juniata this Saturday, January 25 for a tri-meet with Penn St.-Altoona.
