ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown men's swim team closed out their home schedule for the season as they fell 126-79 to local rival, York (Pa.).
To start the evening the team of
Franky Swain,
Barron Bishop,
AJ West, and
Austin Smith claimed first in the 200 medley relay. In the 1000 free,
Leif Hoffman took second clocking in at 10:39.16. Smith grabbed first in the 200 IM as he touched the wall at 2:09.41.
In the 100 fly,
Connor Oswald finished third coming in with a time of 59.68 while
Jack Venza finished fifth. In the 100 free, West (51.06) took second while
Andy Hoch (52.27) followed in third. In the 100 back, Hoffman finished second with a time of 58.01 and Swain finished third. The Blue Jays took the top two spots in the 100 breaststroke led by Bishop and followed by Oswald with a time of 1:05.19.
Etown will hit the road to Juniata for a tri-meet with Penn St.-Altoona this Saturday, January 25.
