WILKES-BARRE, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown women's tennis team competed in a tri-match at King's (Pa.) on Sunday. The Blue Jays fell in a close match, 5-4 against King's before defeating Rutgers-Camden, 6-3.
Against King's (Pa.),
Morgan Bleicher and
Kaylee Mustard were victorious at no.2 doubles, winning 8-1. At no.3 doubles,
Gabriella Palladini and
Adriana Burmeister won, 8-2. In the singles matches, Palladini won 6-3, 6-0 at no.3 singles. Bleicher won 6-3, 6-7, 10-7 as she forced a third set at no.5 singles.
Against Rutgers-Camden, Mustard and Bleicher won, 8-1 at no.2 doubles and Burmeister and Palladini won in a tight match 8-6 at no.3 doubles.
At no.3 singles, Palladini won 6-4, 6-1, Mustard won 6-1, 6-1 at no.4 singles and Bleicher won at no.5 singles.
Katie Balzano won 6-0, 6-3 at no.6 singles.
Etown will end the regular season with a three game home stint. The Blue Jays host Wilkes on April 13 at 12 PM.
