WILKES-BARRE, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown men's tennis team competed in a tri-match at King's (Pa.), Sunday. The Blue Jays fell, 6-3 to King's (Pa.) before sweeping Rutgers-Camden, 9-0.
Against King's, the doubles pair of
Isaac Reichenbach and
Ethan Zelinsky picked up an 8-2 win at no.3 doubles. At no.2 singles,
Stefanos Billis was victorious winning, 6-4, 6-1 and
Luke Paulson won 6-4, 7-5 at no.4 singles.
Against Rutgers-Camden,
Max Lauver and Billis along with
Sam Langer and Paulson won 8-2 at no.1 and no.2 doubles. Reichenbach and
Kyler Henne won, 8-3 at no.3 doubles.
At no.1 singles, Billis won via retirement. Lauver won at no.2 singles, 6-2, 6-2 and Paulson earned a 6-1, 6-1 win at no.3 singles. Langer brought home at 6-2, 6-2 win at no.4 singles. Henne and Zelinsky both swept, 6-0, 6-0 in their singles matches.
Etown finishes out their season with a three game home stint. The Blue Jays will host Wilkes on April 13 at 12 PM.
