Langen, Franey named Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans

2024 Preseason Men's Div. III All-America Teams

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- Riley Langen and Brayden Franey are the first pair of teammates for the Elizabethtown College men's lacrosse team to be named Inside Lacrosse Preseason Div. III All-Americans. The teams were announced this week with the season just a few weeks away. Langen and Franey were both named Honorable Mention for the Blue Jays.

Langen was a force on attack for the Blue Jays, leading the Landmark in assists through the regular season and set a new program and conference single-season record. Langen also led the conference in points, also a school single-season record. He was the Co-Offensive Player of the Year in the Landmark and a USILA and USA Magazine All-America choice.

Franey matched his win total last season from the season previous and was sensational in conference-only games, allowing a Landmark-low 7.26 GAA. Now a senior, Franey did not allow a single conference team to reach double digits goals on him over seven league games in 2023. He earned his first all-conference selection with a Second Team Goalie spot last year.

The Blue Jays begin their season on February 28 at home against Washington (Md.).
