Top 10 lists shift for men's track & field between F&M and Fastrack National Invite

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- There were a number of new all-time performances for the Elizabethtown College men's track & field team on Friday between the Blue & White Invitational at F&M and the Fastrack National Invitational held at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, N.Y. Neither meet was scored.

In New York, Brandon Baxter was a top-10 finisher for Elizabethtown in the 800m. He ran 1:56.02 to put his name ninth on the all-time list and finish 10th overall in the event.

Trevor Albright and Daniel Myers also set new personal bests at the meet. Albright jumped from fifth to fourth all-time in the 400m at 50.50. Myers ran 8:42.40 in the 3k, the sixth-fastest time in program history.

At Franklin & Marshall, Matt Fick was the top finisher for the Blue Jays with his second-place run in the mile. Nolan Pettit was 10th.

Etown went 3-4-5 in the 1,000m, led by Grant Kuhn's 2:43.35. Carson Wiley was just behind him in 2:43.41. Their times are now ninth and tenth, respectively, on the all-time list in the event. Jake Smith was fifth in 2:48.70.

Adam Carmo finished in 8.82 for his 60m hurdle race, good for fourth. Ashton Fasig ran 7.15 in the 60m to place fifth. Martin Ratchford took sixth and Derek Kendig was seventh for EC in the 5,000m.

Chikezie Emmanuel jumped 6.02m in the long jump to place eighth. Darius Gadsden's best mark in the triple jump was 11.28m to take 10th.

Joey Walko threw 12.79m in the weight throw to set another new PR and improve his eighth-place standing on the program's all-time list.

The men's track & field team will be at the SU Tune-Up on Saturday, February 17.
