Men's Swimming Extends Win Streak, Defeats Lycoming

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown men's swim team dominated in the pool Saturday afternoon at Lycoming, defeating the Warriors, 153-32. 

To start the afternoon the team of AJ West, Barron Bishop, Austin Smith, and Marco Niosi claimed first in the 200 medley relay clocking in at 1:41.48. In the 1000 free, Leif Hoffman took first with a time of 10:31.87 while Josh McQueen and Bishop followed. Etown swept the 50 free with Niosi taking the lead touching the wall at 23.96. 

In the 200 IM, Andy Hoch grabbed first coming in with a time of 2:12.87 while Michael Tittermary finished second. Hoch earned another first place as he claimed the top spot in the 100 free with a time of 52.96. McQueen finished second while Hunter Kuffa took third in the event. Hoffman also added another first place as he touched with a time of 56.87 in the 100 back while West finished second with a time of 1:00.25. 

In the 500 free, Robert Midura finished second touching the wall at 5:27.85 while Bishop took third with a time of 5:37.84. Smith, Connor Oswald, and Garren McKenzie swept the 100 breaststroke. The quartet of Liam Quick, Tittermary, Paul Davis, and Smith finished first in the 200 free relay. 

Etown returns home this coming Friday, November 15th at 6pm as they host Dickinson.
