TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- In her final collegiate cross country race, graduate student Kelty Oaster wrapped up her career for the Elizabethtown College women's cross country team at the 2024 NCAA Div. III Championships. Oaster placed 109th in the field.

Elizabethtown's four-time all-region performer was inside the top 70 after 1,000 meters at 3:14.2 and seven seconds off the leader.

Through 3,000 meters, her pace dropped off as she came across the split marker in 95th and then 116th at the 5k point.

Oaster moved up a few spots over the final 1k to cross in 109th in 22:25.6.
