Myers takes all-region place for men's cross country at Div. III Mid-Atlantic Regional

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- Senior Daniel Myers earned his first career all-region honor on Saturday for the Elizabethtown College men's cross country team at the NCAA Div. III Mid-Atlantic Regional hosted at Lock Haven University. The Blue Jays took ninth out 29 teams with 282 points.

Myers was 57th at the first split, marked at 1.6k into the 8k race. From there, the Lancaster Catholic graduate maneuvered his way up the field throughout the remainder of the race. He hovered around 30th with little left in the race and came into the finish line 31st overall in a new personal best time of 25:29.3. His placement earned him All-Mid-Atlantic Region for the first time in his career.

Will Inglis was next in 55th at 26:00.4 and Nolan Pettit not far off behind him in 58th at 26:02.6. Derek Kendig was 75th in 26:25.2 and Benjamin Ortiz was 77th in 26:26.6.
