Women's Swimming Rolls to Wins Over Goucher, Immaculata

TOWSON, Md.-- The Elizabethtown women's swim team opened up their dual meets for the season with dominating wins over Goucher and Immaculata, Friday evening. The Blue Jays defeated Goucher, 172-65 and Immaculata 161-87. 

Etown dominated 11 events with first place finishes. The quartet of Emma Sabalaske, Kortny Green, Kaylee Blair. and Gracie Harding claimed the top spot in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:58.55. Hailey Poulos won the teams first individual event taking first in the 1000 with a time of 11:48.01. Etown went 1-2-3 in the 50 breaststroke with Harding leading the way. Green finished second  while Sabalaske finished third. In the 100 fly, Blair claimed first touching the wall at 1:02.60. 

Harding added another first place as she won the 50 free with a time of 25.60 and Liv Hillman finished third clocking in at 27.21. In the 100 free, Harding finished off her night with her third first place as she touched the wall at 56.90. In the 100 back, Poulos won her second event of the evening coming in with a time of 1:06.32. Sabalaske finished third with a time of 1:08.71. In the 100 breaststroke, Green claimed the top spot touching the wall at 1:14.43. 

In the 500 free, Hillman finshed first followed by Katie Midura with a a time of 5:59.11. In the final event of the evening, Blair, Megan Benson, Poulos, and Hillman finished first in the 200 free relay. 

Elizabethtown is back in the pool tomororrow to open up at home vs. Susquehanna at 2 pm.
