Women's Swimming Cruises to Victories vs. Juniata & Penn St.-Altoona on Senior Day

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown women's swim team closed out their regular season at home Saturday vs. Juniata and Penn St.-Altoona as they also honored their seniors. The Blue Jays defeated the Lions, 164-81 and the Eagles, 167-78. 

In the first event the team of Maddey Brelsford, Emma Sabalaske, Kaylee Blair, and Gracie Harding claimed first in the 200 medley relay. In the 1000 free, Katie Midura took first clocking in at 11:53.65. In the 200 free, Sarah Marston finished first coming in with a time of 2:00.83 and Olivia Hillman finished third with a time of 2:08.77. Brelsford finished second in the 100 back touching the wall at 1:06.24. In the 100 breaststroke, Sabalaske (1:13.59) took first while Kortny Green (1:14.22) finished second. 

In the 50 free, Harding touched the wall first with a time of 26.58 and Maggie Myers followed with a time of 26.75. In the 100 free, Harding, Hillman, and Myers finished second through fourth respectively. Etown took the top two spots in the 200 back as Blair finished first with a time of 2:19.14 and Brelsford clocked in at 2:23.85. Midura claimed second in the 200 breaststroke touching the wall at 2:45.67.

Marston finished first in the 500 free while Myers finished fourth. In the 100 fly, Hillman finished second coming in with a time of 1:07.86. Marston added another first as she claimed the top spot in the 200 IM with a time of 2:14.71. 

Elizabethtown will end their season on February 15-18 for the Landmark Conference Swimming Championships.
