YORK, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown women's swim team defeated York College of PA, Friday evening, 132-69
The team of
Kaylee Blair,
Emma Sabalaske,
Sarah Marston, and
Gracie Harding claimed the top spot in the 400 medley relay with a time of 4:14.76. In the 1000 free,
Hailey Poulos clocked in with a time of 12:09.60 for a second place finish. In the 200 free, Harding finished second coming in with a time of 2:07.41. Sabalaske claimed first in the 50 free with a time of 26.98 and
Maya Veiss finished fourth with a time of 27.56.
In the 400 IM, Marston finished first with a time of 4:48.18 and
Katie Midura followed in second with a time of 5:16.51. Poulos finished in third with a time of 5:16.61. Etown took the top two spots in the 100 fly as Blair finished first and
Maddey Brelsford claimed second. In the 100 free,
Olivia Hillman,
Maggie Myers, and
Megan Benson finished first through third; respectively. In the 100 back, Sabalaske finished second touching the wall at 1:09.44.
Blair claimed first in the 500 free coming in with a time of 5:32.70 and Hillman finished third. In the 100 breaststroke, Harding took third with a time of 1:12.33 while
Kortny Green finished in fourth. In the final 200 free relay, the team of Myers, Hillman, Benson, and Marston took first with a time of 1:47.33.
The Blue Jays are back at home tomorrow, January 27 at 1PM as they host Juniata and Penn St.-Altoona for senior day.
