CHESTERTOWN, Md.-- The Elizabethtown men's swim team dropped their second straight meet after falling, 177-82 to Washington (Md.), Saturday afternoon. 

In the first event of the day in the 200 medley relay, the team of Franky Swain, Alex Waskiewicz, Austin Smith, and AJ West placed second with a time of 1:41.80. In the 1000 free, Leif Hoffman grabbed a first place finish clocking in at 10:28.69 while Robert Midura finished third. In the 200 free, Joshua McQueen finished third touching the wall at 1:55.98. Swain added a third place finish in the 100 back and Dylan Fitzgerald placed fourth. 

Hoffman added another first place to his day as he clocked in at 2:00.78 in the 200 butterfly. A. Smith finished third in the 50 free while Matthew Smith and Hunter Kuffa followed in fifth and sixth. In the 100 free, West took third coming in with a time of 50.69 and Andrew Hoch followed in fourth with a time of 52.79. In the 200 back, Hoffman finished third coming in with a time of 2:04.53. 

In the 200 breaststroke, Waskiewicz claimed a second place finish with a time of 2:20.97 just short of first place. In the 500 free, Fitzgerald finished second and McQueen took third. A. Smith took second in the 100 fly clocking in at 54.69. 

Elizabethtown will take a short trip Friday, January 26 to face, York (Pa.).
