ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown men's swim team dropped a tough meet to visiting Scranton in a Landmark match-up, Saturday. The Blue Jays fell, 162-100.
In the 200 medley relay, the team of
Franky Swain,
Connor Oswald,
Austin Smith, and
AJ West claimed first with a time of 1:43.04.
Leif Hoffman took first in the 1000 free clocking in at 10:26.73. In the 200 free,
Andrew Hoch finished third coming in with a time of 1:57.60 and West finished fourth with a time of 1:59.91. In the 100 backstroke,
Dylan Fitzgerald touched the wall at 59.87 for a second place finish.
In the 100 breaststroke, Etown took the top two spots with
Alex Waskiewicz leading the way and Oswald following in second. Hoffman added another first place finish, taking the top spot in the 200 fly with a time of 2:02.36.A. Smith finished second clocking in at 23.16 in the 50 free and then took third in the 100 free. Fitzgerald claimed third in the 200 back coming in with a time of 2:11.87.
In the 200 breaststroke, Waskiewicz finished second touching the wall 2:22.63. Hoffman finished second in the 500 free clocking in at 5:05.02. In the 100 fly, A. Smith claimed first with a time of 54.38 and Oswald finished third coming in with a time of 59.74. Waskiewicz took third in the 200 IM with a time of 2:12.68 and West finished fourth.
Elizabethtown is back on the road, January 20 at Washington (Md.)
